But, my favorite moment of the entire time was when we went into the Dadeland Trailer Park, which was shown all over the news. It was completely flattened, nothing standing. There was a guy sitting on the front steps to what used to be his home. Now, it was just steps and an empty lot. He had his head in his hands and he was just weeping. We stopped and gently asked him what he needed, could we give him money? At the very least we asked for him to let us give him some apples, oranges, water, juice. He looked at us through bright red eyes and cheeks streaked with hours of tears and said, "Do you have any Grey Poupon?"
