And you only get one question, so don't mess it up...

Listening to the Dalai Lama for an hour or so was like having an audience with a cross between your favorite grandfather and Yoda from Star Wars. He would laugh at his own jokes, tended to ramble a bit, but would eventually get around to the point he was going to make but all in all, it was a good time. This was very apparent when he took a question from one of the students that was (fairly) simple and went on and on about it for about 20 minutes and I'm sitting there thinking "Why is he going on about India? When the question was about people in a relationship with different belief systems..." But he would bring it all together at the end when he pointed out that India has probably the highest density of differing belief systems and they pretty much all get along and then I go...AHHHHhhh!! Enlightenment! *ding!*

geckoman saw what the Dalai Lama did there.
