hardcore sex, fisting, rosie the dyke

Denial is more than just a river in Egypt...

dottieneurotic on the former lead singer of the Village People denying that the songs have a gay undertone:

Okay, fine; YMCA is about playing basketball at the gym. And alright, In The Navy is about helping out Uncle Sam. And San Francisco is about how friendly everyone in the Bay Area is. And Macho Man is about the crippling effects that the sexist construction of manhood have on young men. And the name "Village People" has nothing to do with Greenwich Village; it's about how it takes a village to raise a child.

So I hear Victor Willis has a new song, called In The Closet. It's about coats and brooms.

QWP, from the comment section, Context doth protest too much.

Over on topazanddebussy, karie22 is discussing Eclipse, the latest installment in Stephenie Meyer's Twilight series, and the very chaste presentation of Edward and Bella's relationship:

I guess the best we can hope for is more wild kissing scenes, and then a quick jump ahead where Bella says "and then we made love and it was the most amazing thing ever". Either that or "he shattered my pelvis" but I really hope it's not the latter.

Be warned--context contains SPOILERS for Eclipse!!!!!
