Eragon gone bad

A few bits from peak_in_darien's wonderful review of Eragon:

Cries of “this is so wrong!” were heard in the audience, although apparently not in the studio

Pictured here with Eragon is Emo Boy, whose eyeliner and uncut hair are the greatest threat to the kingdom. Emo Boy provides several accidental moments of gay, and, I expect, the choice of Avril Lavigne playing during the credits.

If there's one thing I learned from
Eragon, it's that Jeremy Irons is always happy to assist a boy inexplicably clad in leather pants.

Eragon can be best described in four words: Tolkien on a budget. The majority of the film is a rip-off of The Lord of the Rings. It is subtle, in the way that a punch in the face with knuckle-dusters is subtle.
