Now THAT's just peachy!

(QWP from http://www.livejournal.com/community/customers_suck/14492671.html?thread=184857599)

Original poster is apparently a school cafeteria worker, discussing the stresses that go along with the job. She ends her post with:

"Little pre-sealed cups of peaches in syrup are not gross. You don't have to take one if yo don't want it. Don't make faces and poke the poor little packages. What did they ever do to you anyway? They just want to be loved. Please..love the peaches. Eat them. They like you and want to be liked in return. ^_^"

Now I thought this, and the rest of the post, was pretty funny. Then I saw jedi_iwakura's response:

ALL WE ARE SAYING...

IS GIVE PEACH A CHANCE....

Sorry, I love puns off the cuff, and that was a good one.

[insert followup question, "What's so funny 'bout Peach love, and understanding?" here]

I was writing Christmas thank you notes this morning (I know, but better late than never), and I started writing one to my younger sister for her gift. She got me the George W. Bushisms desk calender, which has been one of my favorite presents so far. She's a Republican and I'm a Democrat, so I shouldn't have done this... but oh, it was too much fun to resist.

Dear Sarah,
I wish to extend to yourself much thankitude for the Bushisms calender you have so nicefully purchasified. As you can observify, reading the President's quotage has improved my speakitude and inspirified me. Your thoughtfulnessity will not be malappreciated, as I can now emulatify President Bush, for whom I have great respectitude.
