I joined metaquotes expressly so I could post this. It's quite possibly the funniest thing I've ever read on Lj(of course, I'm very easily amused, and I'll probably find something tomorrow that I find equally, if not more, funny).

From a thread about the new bill proposed in GA in which high school students would have to have parental persmission to join school clubs. Someone told porktruck that there were clubs for gay students because schools used to be fairly open-minded in the nineties. This was his response:
