pottersues describing a Harry Potter Mary-Sue story right out of a teen movie:

Lily (Alyson Hannigan), Trina (Alexis Bledel), and Lia (Avril Lavigne in her movie debut!) are Hogwarts High's resident losers; the brain, the reject, and the bitch from hell. But when they accidentally meet up with the three most popular boys in school, James (Elijah Wood), Sirius (Freddie Prinze Jr), and Remus (Erik von Detten), it's a classic case of opposites attract! What will happen when the cheerleading captian, Roxy Delgado (Katie Holmes) finds out about this development? Get ready for wacky highschool hijinx in The Brain, the Reject, and the Bitch from Hell!

Wow Neat

Watched Animal Planet for five hours last night. It was cold and traffic was loud and insomnia set in, and it was Crocodile Hunter or infomercials. Turned it off when Steve Irwin started to seem like the most desirable man I could possibly conceive of. It was like in Red Dwarf, only uglier.

Please forgive my lack of name links

From _Mice_ in the Marysues community: (I just love the mental image the last line creates)

Unusual Markings/Colorations: Freckles. She's got freckles and looks like a normal girl (because she'd be a Mary Sue otherwise...but we have time yet.) And a barcode on the back of her neck - apparently, Xavier bought her on a whim at Wal-Mart.

See What I Have To Live With?

So Lori and I were talking about how much we enjoyed watching Grosse Pointe Blank tonight and how fascinating both John Cusack's and Joan Cusack's eyes were in some of the close-ups, which lead to another of Lori's favorite movies, Labyrinth, and how beautiful (and twinkly) Jennifer Connelly's eyes were, to which I agreed but added that her eyes weren't her only fascinating attribute, which caused Lori to point out that David Bowie's most fascinating attribute in that movie was his "area", which has also been celebrated by an entire website.

To which I said...

"Well he's British, so that's a metric 'package' - they're not as big as they look once you do the conversion. Besides, you'd need an adapter."
