And The Clocks Were Striking Thirteen

In response to a thread about a senator's opinion that abortion is traumatizing to women (no, this is NOT an invitation to a debate on the topic, just keep scrolling):

eyelid: I AM NOT TRAUMATIZED. Do I have to take out a billboard in front of Franks's house??
cynica: He'll just interpret that as an emotional lashing-out due to your repressed hatred and anger as a result of the abortion.
eyelid: I think his emotional lashing-out is due to his repressed desire to dress in evening gowns.
cynica: Sexy.

One final note by m_fallenangel:

Actually, I think he's trying to take some spin on the "sensitive to the true needs of women and children" angle to get laid. Hasn't the man ever heard of trying a pitcher of Alabama Slammers instead?

And one more, totally unrelated:

theklute: You gotta admit tho, Edwards is far cuddlier than Cheney. It's like a baby alligator vs. a full-grown one.
